2019 Qingdao Tech & Innovation Challenge – Singapore Semi-Final

In collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Techbridge Ventures will be organizing the 2019 Qingdao Tech & Innovation Challenge – Singapore Semi-finals on the 23rd October, 2019. The Challenge is open to Start-ups, SMEs, and researchers based in Singapore, with relevant technology innovations from the following strategic industries of Qingdao:

  • AI & Cloud Computing
  • Clean Tech / Renewable Energy
  • Advanced Material
  • Bio Tech / Med Tech
  • Marine Tech

Participants in the Challenge will have the opportunity to meet and interact with local investors. Up to 8 teams will be selected for a fully sponsored trip to Qingdao in late November for the Grand Finals. 

Cash prizes will be given to the top Three Participants in the Singapore SemiFinal Round as follows: 

First Prize         :            $1000

Second Prize     :           $800 

Third Prize        :           $500 

As part of the collaboration, AWS will be providing $10,000 USD in AWS promo credits to each eligible startup (startups who have not received credits from AWS before).
